It was all smiles and joy from the couples and supporters attending the Decision Day Celebration. The celebration marked the U.S. Supreme Court's historic 5-4 ruling that the Fourteenth Amendment requires states to license same-sex marriages and that all states must recognize same-sex marriages that were lawfully licensed and performed in another state.

Simply put, I'm a news junkie, writer and creator. Collectively, I have eight years of experience writing, editing, managing and growing social media accounts, developing social media campaigns, content development, and strategizing innovative digital experiences for small and medium-sized enterprises to one of the world's biggest intergovernmental organizations.

I'm also passionate about volunteerism and mentoring youth. As a professional, I understand the importance of giving back to a community, and helping to equip youth with various tools and life lessons that can't be learned in a classroom setting.
